Password Recovery

Quick Answer

Password recovery involves collecting the fictional account’s recovery information and answering the security question shown by the game.

Password recovery involves collecting the fictional account’s recovery information and answering the security question shown by the game. Read the recovery app first, find the matching email and answer, then enter those values in their corresponding fields. Do not substitute a caller’s card number or remote-access code for recovery information.

Hotfix 2 fixes favorite-color answers so they can be accepted in the caller’s language. That is a specific compatibility change; it does not establish that any color, translated guess or unrelated personal fact will pass the check.

Start with the recovery question

Open password recovery when it is available in your run. Identify the recovery email field and the question the app is asking. Gameplay shows recovery questions involving personal details such as a pet or color, so the requested answer can differ between accounts.

Find the actual question before searching. Knowing a caller’s pet name does not help if the current account asks about a color. Likewise, a color mentioned during unrelated dialogue should not automatically be treated as the saved security answer.

Collect the required account information

A connected fictional computer can contain the account and personal records needed for recovery. Where a remote session is part of your task, establish that connection first and inspect the files for relevant information. There is no verified universal folder name or fixed path for every caller.

  1. Read the recovery email requirement. Find the email associated with the account you are trying to recover.
  2. Read the exact security question. Keep it visible while looking through the fictional records.
  3. Locate the matching answer. Use the record that answers that question, rather than whichever detail you found first.
  4. Enter the email and answer separately. Keep each value in its intended field.
  5. Follow the app’s current action control. Check its result rather than declaring success in conversation first.

The available information does not establish every current recovery button label or a complete success-state sequence. Follow the controls displayed in your build; this guide does not promise that collecting two values automatically finishes every possible recovery task.

Use the favorite-color language fix correctly

If the security question asks for a favorite color, use the fictional caller’s actual answer. On Hotfix 2, the recovery check accepts favorite-color answers in the caller’s language. You should not need to invent a different answer merely because the caller is not speaking English.

First confirm that you are using the current build and answering the correct question. A wrong email, an answer belonging to another account, or a different recovery question can still explain a failed attempt. The language fix does not remove those checks.

Keep the remote session under control

While you inspect files, the caller can continue speaking or react to what is happening. Respond to their current question and keep track of the recovery task. Do not let an unrelated payment or conversation objective replace the email and answer you were collecting.

Read any permission or reboot prompt before acting. A remote-session interruption can be a different problem from an incorrect recovery answer. If the connection ends, do not assume the recovery app has already submitted or saved your last input.
